Bade was captured during a slow-paced amble of one of the easiest and most enjoyable walks in the Lakes. Starting and ending at the Lingholm Estate (and fuelled by their coffee and cake), a leisurely circuit of Derwentwater is hard to beat. Near Hawsend and Otterbield bay there is a small woodland of silver birch and scots pine that is rarely busy, and always a pleasure to explore. Bade is a two-shot panorama stitch, taken from the edge of the treeline there.

Further Information

  • All prints ordered through The Wynd Photographic are fine art prints. They are produced using the giclee process in combination with a smooth, archival, 300gsm cotton based paper by Fotospeed.

  • Once a print has been ordered, it is either produced by Pete in his own workshop or, if scale dictates, via an independent local print house he collaborates with regularly. Pete oversees all printing before performing quality checks, adding his signature, and packaging the finished work at the Wynd Gallery.

  • We are unable to guarantee a set turnaround time for an online order. Each client and order is slightly different and may require a particular approach to production. Wherever possible, we aim to complete and dispatch orders within 7 days of them being received.

    If you have specific requirements or a specific date that you need to have your order by, please get in touch via the contact page before you make your purchase. If you let us know the image name, the size you’re interested in, a rough location for delivery, and what date you need the order for, we’ll be able to let you know quite quickly whether there will be any problems.
