Hyem - a Northumberland Photozine

£16.00

‘Hyem’ is photographer Pete Wilkinson’s ode the Northumberland and Tyne Valley of his youth. Featuring over 40 landscape images from all across the county (including some that have been shortlisted for UK Landscape Photographer of the Year & The British Photography Awards), ‘Hyem’ speaks to the diverse landscape one can expect when exploring this part of the UK.

From the stunning coastline of Embleton and Bamburgh, to the haunting post-industrial hills of the North Pennines, and the dense ancient woodlands of the west tyne valley to the rolling no mans lands of the Roman Wall and border country, Northumberland has stimulated and inspired Pete since he was a young boy growing up just a few miles west of Hexham. ‘Hyem’ is his attempt to celebrate these unique local landscapes and the role they’ve played in his life.
